Phalaenopsis Orchids, commonly known as Moth Orchids, are the beauties of the orchid world. They thrive when kept in a nice bright room with a little morning sunlight, and always indoors. Watering should be kept to once every two weeks or so, and the best gauge for this is to check whether the potting mixture is dry. Allowing the pot to dry out a little between watering, this technique ensures the plant doesn't become waterlogged from over watering. Follow these easy instructions and your phalaenopsis orchid will reward you with their gorgeous blooms, who's flowering season lasts anywhere between three to six months, at which time you can expect to see flowers opening on the plant during this time.
