Cymbidium, commonly known as boat orchids, is a genus of evergreen flowering plants in the orchid family Orchidaceae. Orchids in this genus are epiphytic, lithophytic, terrestrial or rarely leafless saprophytic herbs usually with pseudobulbs.
Cym, is a White flowering Cymbidium Orchid plant with a show of flowers that can last anywhere between three to six months. This beautiful winter/spring flowering plant is perfect to enjoy indoors or outdoors. They prefer to be tightly planted in their container, so don't be tempted to re-pot because they look cramped but they love it this way! Water once a week and allow water to drain away. May be placed inside as a feature display, ensure they receive some morning sunlight and they can be enjoyed while flowering. Alternatively, place them outdoors in a spot where morning sun is abundant and watch their showy flowers delight you through the colder months.
