It does prefer to be in a mostly shaded area (indoors is perfect, or outside under cover), new growth comes in the form of a pale green foliage, and slowly turns to deep green once the leaves grow to full size.
Your ficus (fiddle leaf fig) plant will thrive with lots of new growth if you follow this simple plan. Ensure a regular splash of water each week, dont let it sit soaking let it drip dry before placing back into pot, clean dust of leaves on a monthly basis, find it a spot with lots of natural light and keep away from drafts or direct air conditioning vents.
