Seed Blossom Pod - Heckenberg Florist

Your Local Florist near Heckenberg

We are located on Wallgrove Road, a short distance from The Horsley Drive and M7 exit of the same name. Our family business has been running for many years, servicing the people in and around Horsley Park and suburbs. Our shop started as a small shed, where we specialised in gifts, market blooms, and funeral flowers. Today, we continue this tradition and have expanded our range to include arrangements, bouquets, and posies for all occasions. We also stock a beautiful range of candles, hand creams, and room diffusers, along with lovely home wares and prints.

Today, we continue the traditions of our store and still specialise in flowers for funerals. Our newly renovated store is a comforting place to be when ordering and purchasing flowers, with air conditioning, and lots of gorgeous flowers to look at and choose from. Our friendly staff are trained florists and can help guide you with your purchase. We can recommend the best colours, flowers, and gifts for all occasions.

Heckenberg

Heckenberg is a suburb in south-western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 36 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Liverpool. Heckenberg was named after a pioneering family who settled in the area before 1840. Casper Theodore Heckenberg was born in Plymouth England in 1810 to parents Harriet and Henry, who later moved to Hull. Casper was a master mariner and operated ships between Sydney and Port Stephens in the logging trade. The family bought land in the Liverpool area and some of the Heckenberg sons became well known woodchoppers. James William Heckenberg was the Australasian Woodchopping Champion at the turn of the century. There were eight brothers and one sister in the Heckenberg family. Heckenberg was part of the Green Valley housing estate, which was subdivided in 1960. Heckenberg Post Office opened on 1 July 1965 and closed in 1986.

Heckenberg Public School is a school in this suburb.
